How to Purchase Public
Offer in Oracle Database@Google Cloud
Introduction
Since 2024, a new
partnership between Oracle and Google is bringing together one of the most
popular global database solution for a true multicloud strategy. With Oracle
Database@Google Cloud, you can now combine Google Cloud technologies with
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
Oracle
Database@Google Cloud provides several options for direct access to Oracle
Database Services including Oracle Autonomous Database Services, Oracle Exadata
Database Services, deployed in Google Clous Data centers.
OCI offers to customers two Google Cloud Marketplace options: Private
and Public. The selection you make here sets your company’s business
relationship with Oracle for Oracle Database@Google Cloud.
This article describes how to perform the purchase of public offer. The
public offer is for customers testing the service or for customers that have
short-term needs for an Oracle database in Google Cloud.

Step1:
Open your Google Cloud console:
Step2: Search for the product name, Oracle@Google Cloud:
Step3:
If you are not subscribed to the product, you will see the option to subscribe
or the options subscribe and Contact Sales depending to your offer. Click on
Subscribe:
Step4: Select Plan.
The pay-as-you-go is selected and you see the features and pricing usage fee.
For purchase details, select billing account to be the primary account to be
used for making payments.
Go to the terms, and
click on the checkbox and the click on Subcribe.
You will see a pop appears
that your order has been sent to Oracle:
Go to product page:
You will see the status “Purchase pending provider approval”
Click on the link ”Purchase
pending provider approval” and on “Manage Orders”
You can see the plan
and status. It may take some time for Oracle to approve.
Step5: On this step,
you will create a new OCI account, which is required with the pay-as-you-go
purchase offer. Click on Create Account:
Step6 : Fill the
details and click on “Create Cloud Account”
It may take some time
to complete.
When it’s approved,
the Product details page would look like this:
Back to the Oracle Database@Google Cloud Product Details page. The status of your order has become active.
So this is how you complete the purchase of public offer in Google Cloud Console. Now you are ready to use Oracle Database@Google Cloud to provision the different OCI native databases from Google Cloud Console.
